This project turns long and boring (but important!) local government meetings into short, digestible conversation-style podcasts. The podcast fills a gap that used to be covered by traditional media. The project uses AssemblyAI for transcription, Claude to convert the transcript into a podcast script, and OpenAI Whisper to create the recordings. Behind the podcast is a rich management app for creating new podcasts (including "vacation mode" that publishes new episodes automatically).
