Go Deeper
I created FitFoundry to help my own job search. I was spending hours per week searching boards, different options with each board, searching multiple titles and coming up with very little. FitFoundry plugs into Claude Cowork (though can be adapted for anything that has access to tools on your computer like Puppeteer). The bootstrap process starts off with interviewing you about what you want in a job (there is a quick and a more in depth version of the interview) and combines that with a copy of your resume(s) to generate a career profile and scorecard. Then using perbuilt or easy to add sites, it searches job listing based on your criteria, pulls down the top level data (title, company, location/remote) and determines which of those are worth looking deeper. For the titles that fit, it goes deeper and pulls the job description, looking for things including hard requirements and compares with your career profile. For jobs that you meet most of the requirements and that are in areas you are interested in, it scores them (1-10). Any jobs scoring 6>= it will go even further and generate an md file that contains job posting meta data, reasons why it is a good fit, a gap analysis and the text of the job description. The last step in the main workflow is to do a ghost job check where it goes to the company's career site and verifies if the job is posted there. Since Anthropic released Schedules for Cowork, I now have it checking different boards and company sites on different days of the week so I come to a folder of jobs to review and apply to. An optional last step you can use is LaunchKit (included) that will draft a tailored resume and cover letter for the position. Now I am applying to jobs I'm excited about, not scrolling endlessly through job boards. Some of the boards and companies it can search out of the box: - Indeed (official MCP) - Dice (official MCP) - Google
